    • Job Title: Business Development Representative

    • Location: Mont Belvieu – 11250 Eagle Drive, Mont Belvieu, TX 77523
    • Commute Requirements: Must be willing to work non-traditional hours and travel approximately 75% of the time within assigned territory to make business calls, attend events, teach financial classes and other events promoting the Credit Union. Travel is during the day and rarely overnight.
    • Job Role Description:

    Responsible for promoting, retaining, and increasing Credit Union membership through the development of new relationships with prospective members and increasing business with present members by making personal contact via scheduled appointments, education seminar opportunities, event participation, networking and other potential touch points.

    • Knowledge and Skills Required:

     Experience

    One year to three years of similar or related experience.

    Education

    (1) A two-year college degree or (2) Completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school or (3) Completion of a specialized and extensive in-house training or

    apprenticeship program.

    Interpersonal Skills

    A significant level of trust and diplomacy is required, in addition to normal courtesy and tact. Work involves extensive personal contact with others and is usually of a personal or sensitive nature. Work may involve motivating, influencing or training others. Outside contacts become important and fostering sound relationships with other entities (companies and/or individuals) becomes necessary and often requires the ability to influence and/or sell ideas or services to

    others.

    Other Skills

    Must be detail oriented with strong organizational skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks timely and accurately.

    Good communication and presentation skills. Must be able to work and travel independently.

    Must be able to operate related computer software and business equipment.

    Ability to travel to all areas within the designated field of membership as well as to meetings and training held at other locations.

    Professionalism in appearance, dress, and attitude is a must.

    Physical Requirements

    Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Perform general physical activities that include carrying, pulling, pushing, climbing, and lifting boxes, promotional material, equipment, etc.; positioning, hanging, and manipulating marketing materials

    (banners, displays, tables, etc.)
